Enchanting mid century limited-edition chinoiserie coffee table by celebrated designers Philip LaVerne and Kelvin LaVerne, titled Chan. The piece crosses the line between art and function, handcrafted in bronze with a round top and octagon base, featuring an acid-etched and patinated polychrome bronze and pewter view of the Forbidden City gate. The color remains in excellent original condition. Signed Philip & Kelvin Laverne. As seen in the listing photos, the coffee table was featured in their catalog from the 1970s.
