Pair of Early Drawings of Jamaica

Intriguing pair of drawings on paper with historical significance, both depicting 19th century scenes from the Hyde Hall plantation, which is still standing and currently a tourist destination. Labeled in old script in graphite on the bottom of each drawing. The top drawing reads “Another view of Hyde Hall Jamaica formally the property of the late Crossley – (?) Hall Esq. the maternal grandfather of S W Stanhope” The bottom drawing “Hyde Hall Trelawny Jamaica. Formally the residence of the late Crossley (?) Hall Esq. the maternal grandfather of S W Stanhope”
